Colorado Division for the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind (CDDHHDB) Legal Auxiliary Services

A five-member advisory council reviews the Colorado Division for the Deaf, Hard of Hearing and DeafBlind (CDDHHDB) Legal Auxiliary Services rules, corresponding procedures, and makes recommendations, including responses to complaints up to and including removal of an interpreter from the referral resource list, which requires a three-member sub committee to accomplish this.

Membership consists of the following: three (3) Status I or II Court/Legal Interpreters (at least one (1) deaf and one (1) hearing), one (1) CART provider, and one (1)  member of the public.

Term limits of the Legal Auxiliary Service Council members shall be determined by the Division.

This Council meets at least two times per year.
